Beverly May Scherber, 75, a resident of Pinehurst Street, Lyndonville, Vt., passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at home surrounded by her children.
She loved sewing, crocheting, working and spending time with family and friends. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all.
She was predeceased by her oldest son Vincenzo J. D'Auria in 2006.
She is survived by her sister Della Lafleur of West Burke, Vt., her children: Pellegrino D'Auria and wife Pamela of Jewett City, Conn., Michele D'Auria and wife Dena of Jewett City, Conn., Alan Scherber and wife Cara of Windham, N.H., Annie Scherber and fiancé Richard John Jr. of Danville, Vt.
She is also survived by her many grandchildren. Vincenzo D'Auria Jr, Nikko D'Auria, Jessica Berry, Shane Greene, Jeremy Greene, of Vermont; Pellegrino D'Auria Jr, Michele D'Auria, Jr., David D'Auria and Jessica D'Auria of Connecticut; Mia Scherber, Ava Scherber and Micah Scherber of New Hampshire; Stephen Scherber, Meagan McDowell, Michael John and Devon John of Vermont.
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins of Vermont and Connecticut.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at the Lyndonville VFW Post # 10038, 156 Hill Street, Lyndonville, Vt.
